Personal life

La vita è bella

I love my job
And I’m paid fairly
They say I’m decent at it
So many nice people around me
It hardly ever rains, the sun is radiant
I love the ways of this land, my new home country

I love my girl
She’s heaven to me
We match up quite nicely
She lights up all that’s in me
She hardly complains, she’s so brilliant
I love all about this woman, my newfound mirror

And so I cry
Quiet desperation
My heart’s beating me up
Feeling an incompetent ingrate
Because what remains, with this distance?
What I love in this world, this world keeps apart

As you can see: I’m almost perfectly happy
